Nate Perry is a graphic design BFA and sociololgy minor undergraduate student at University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Much of his work focuses on the socioeconomic issues that define our current world. Subjects such as imperialism and capitalism find their way into many of his pieces. Formally, Nate draws from many postmodern design practices.


The satisfaction I derive from my work does not come from knowing that one walks away from my work simply understanding its message. Rather, I seek to create the same feeling of simultaneous indignation and excitement that was present in its creation. Design should incite its viewer. Not just to read and learn, but to act. There are alternate timelines outside our current grasp and they will remain there if we do not reach. We will never reach if we do not know to.
